Annie Leibovitz Exhibit in Charlotte - 2 days/1 night - August 19-20, 2025
This overnight trip to Charlotte to experience the Annie Leibovitz Exhibit at the Mint Museum begins with an afternoon arrival at SouthPark. I chose this hotel location in SouthPark to appeal to shoppers and non-shoppers alike as an evening "change of scenery" from the coast offering relaxation and plentiful dinner choices within walking distance. The following day is busy beginning with a 90-minute narrated tour on Charlotte's "Funny Bus". The award-winning and nationally recognized Funny Bus was recently voted ‘Best Tour of Charlotte. It offers a unique blend of laughter and learning featuring local comedians showcasing the highlights of the Queen City.
Following this tour, we are dropped off at the Mint Museum for a guided tour of the Annie Leibovitz Exhibit and as well as time to take in the other Museum exhibits. The Mint Museum is a leading, innovative museum of international art and design.
